[It pains him to see all the damage done to Gokudera's body. There is the fact he's his boyfriend and he wants to keep him safe but also the fact that Gokudera is so young still and seeing this young bruised and broken body is giving him painful reminders of his youth. He'd seen so many others as broken and beaten and if not worse than this, too many to count.]

I want to get some cream on it even if it's not major.

[He knows Gokudera is aching and wants to just rest but he needs to do this. He unscrews the cap for the silver cream and starts to rub it on the bruised and discolored skin. He's mindful of his own calloused hands as he does it, trying to be as gentle and thorough as he possibly can.]

I hate this....I hate it so much....

[There is a deep sadness in those blue eyes as he focuses on the bruising.]

[Gokudera has been through so much worse, but he won't really share that. Few people know what his life was like before he met his boss, and before he came to Duplicity. He does not feel broken, but he knows how it looks, and how it must pain Wrio to tend to him.]

I just mean that... I might not know I have some of them...

[He allows Wrio to rub the silver cream onto his bruises and scrapes, and he frowns as he listens.]

I'll just have Artemis take over this kind of stuff, then...

No. Let me be the one who does it.

[He doesn't hate it because it's Gokudera, he hates that he let this happen and helping to heal him is the only way he can feel like he's even remotely atoning for what happened to him.]

I just wish this didn't happen to you. I hate seeing you like this.

[He looks up at Gokudera and sighs for a moment as he finishes up his chest and stomach. He tugs at the boxers Gokudera has on so he can see if there is any bruises lowers as well but stops so he can give him a kiss on the cheek.]

He can help. Then you don't need to rob a pharmacy.

[Gokudera doesn't expect Wrio to be happy about his current condition.]

Yes well, I thought you wanted to stop talking about it.

[The tugging to his boxers has him blushing and he reaches to grab Wrio's wrist.]

I'm fine, there-!

I'll go bring some money later or something. You were more important at the moment.

[he stops when Gokudera gets flustered and actually lets out a bit of a chuckle for the first time since he came over.]

Alright I won't patch up your dick. What about your back?

Fine. I still think Artemis may be better suited for stuff like this...

[The bandaging and cleaning, he means. He also knows that his other boyfriend struggles to accept how much he can be relied upon.]

He helps in different ways, I mean, [he clarifies, not wanting Wrio to get the wrong impression.]

Oh. The back's kind of itchy-

[Gokudera rolls onto his right side before carefully lowering himself down. His back is littered with old scars from cuts, a few burn marks, but there's some road rash near the middle of his back from where he'd dragged himself against the road while escaping.]

If you wanted artemis you should have messaged him then.

[He's not that insulted but he still thinks he should be helping.]

It's itchy?

[When he sees the back he sighs and gets more of the antispetic wipes.]

Chaton, my dear this is going to be painful but I have to do it, alright?

[It's a larger area and he's worried it might hurt a lot so he offers Gokudera a hand.]

Squeeze or bite it if you need to, alright?

I’m not saying I prefer him but just this task!

[He grumbles something about him having more delicate hands than Wrio, then reaches to grab his pillow and drag it closer.]

Go for it.

[Gokudera takes Wrio’s hand with his unoccupied one and then presses his face into the pillow to muffle any noise he makes. His hand squeezes when the cleaning starts, then eases up. Good thing his face is hidden, the pained noise he makes muffled and a touch dramatic.]

[He doesn't blame Gokudera for being a little dramatic. It's a lot to clean and Wriothesley knows it hurts. He tries to clean it as quickly as he can to end the stinging sooner and once he's done he puts some cream on him and leans over him to kiss the back of his head.]

There there, chaton. You did so well. What a good boy.

[He's not trying to tease, just sort of praise him for taking the pain.]

Don't rest on it yet. Just stay on your side a little longer and then you can sleep. I promise. Do you want anything? Hungry?

[Gokudera gives a sniffle and doesn't lift his face from the pillow, taking a moment to level out his breathing. The praise does make him feel a bit better.]

Hmmm... no... [He may just end up sleeping on his side, and it keeps some pressure off his leg, so it's definitely more comfortable.]

[Wriothesley shifts so he can lay behind him and caress his head, running his hands through the silver locks and kissing him every so often.]

There there, you're going to be fine. I'll make sure you're back to yourself in no time. I'm yours Chaton, I'm not going to let anyone hurt you ever again.

[Gokudera does eventually start to drift off with the petting and soft kisses, lulled in comfort and feeling better to have some security. Wrio's words help, and they sound so nice, he almost thinks he's dreaming them.]

Thanks, Wriothesley, [He mutters, forgets why he was so angry at the pain a few moments ago. But, they're through that and he feels better about healing himself with the wounds cleaned.]

[Wriothesley stays there just petting and loving on his injured boyfriend with no plans to leave anytime soon. He's a bit like a mother hen wanting to protect her precious egg with Gokudera right now and maybe he might start to calm down later but not for awhile. He's going to get on his partners nerves and smother him for a bit.]

Sweet dreams, Gokudera.

[He kisses his forehead once more and continue to pet him until that lulls him into a sleep as well, holding his boyfriend carefully and curled practically around him.]
